Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be met and transfer to your hotel by a private vehicle.

At night dinner and tango show. As beef is the tradition of Argentina, no visitor ought to leave this land without enjoying a large steak grilled to perfection, washed down by one of its excellent wines. DAY 03 BUENOS AIRES

Morning private tour around South America’s most elegant capital. On the way we will see Plaza de Mayo and the buildings that surround it: Casa Rosada (Government House), Cabildo (Old City Hall), The City Hall. Then, on to see the monumental Congress Building and its Square and along 9 de Julio Ave., the widest in the world, to see the Colon Theater, famous Opera House that stages the most important artists and musicians from all over the world. We will also visit San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Palermo Park with jacaranda and palo borracho trees which flower in spring and late summer, the polo field and the race track and the historical Recoleta Cemetery with its ornate memorials. Upon arrival to the Visitors Center and the Iguazu National Park Entrance, you will board a gas-propelled train, that will take you to the upper falls circuit and the Devil’s Throat. Once you are at the Devil’s Throat Station you will walk for about one kilometer on a flat catwalk built over the Upper Iguassu River. This catwalk crosses several islands where there are snack bars. Once you get to the end of the catwalks, you will be surprised by a strategic lookout point resting on the side of the gorgeous Devil’s Throat. The tour to Devil’s Throat has an approximate duration of 1 ½ hour. (Each station and catwalks have snack bars and toilets to cater to the visitor). During this visit the Falls will be seen from up close allowing for the detailed appreciation of both flora and fauna as well the Falls who are literally at the reach of one’s hands. Afternoon a tour to this charming town set at the foot of the Andes and the highest peak in The Americas- The Aconcagua (22,834ft.), visiting the Government House, San Martin Park and Forest, Cerro de la Gloria crowned by a monument to the Andes Liberating Army. (B)

Day 06 MENDOZA: 

Today a visit to some of the vineyards just outside the city and one of the famous wineries with large oak wines casks, originally from France are used to age the red wines at constant temperatures. After the visit you will be able to sample the wine. (Mendoza is considered the capital of the wine region). Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 07 MENDOZA-BUENOS AIRES:

Transfer to the airport. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires transfer to hotel selected. (B)

DAY 08 BUENOS AIRES-BARILOCHE

DAY 09 BARILOCHE

Morning scenic drive skirting Lake Nahuel Huapi as far as Puerto Pañuelo and the Llao Llao peninsula. Leaving this lake behind, the road climbs through a forest of coihue trees, a native evergreen, offering views of the Andean peaks, you will see the impressive mount Tronador then to Lake Moreno for panoramic view of Lake Nahue Huapi, Victoria Island and the Andean mountains in all their splendor. Return to Bariloche via Laguna El Trebol (Clover lagoon). Afternoon at leisure (B).

Day 10 BARILOCHE-IGUASSU 

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires with connection to Iguassu. Arrive and transfer to hotel selected. (B)

Upon arrival in Rio, transfer to hotel selected. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Sugar Loaf. Drive along Rio's famous beaches to the Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) cable car station where you will be taken to the Urca Mountain (mid-way station) with its gardens and look-out points. Then, the second part of the ride will take you to the peak of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, 1300 ft above sea level to photograph the awe-inspiring views. (BB)

A quick drive from your hotel to the Cosme Velho Train Station. The cog wheel train will climb up through the Tijuca Rain Forest and will bring you to the steps of the Christ Statue. Day 6 BUENOS AIRES–CALAFATE:

Arrive in Calafate where you will be met and transfer to to your hotel.

Day 7 –CALAFATE-PERITO MORENO:

Full day tour to Perito Moreno Glacier, an impressive Patagonian Glacier formed about 1 million years ago. Today will drive about 50 miles from Calafate, to the Peninsula of Magallanes, (south arm of the lago Argentino) to see the glacier, 240 feet above sea level and 3 miles wide, it is an overwhelming view of nature and contrary to other glaciers, this is the only one in the world which is still growing. (B)

Day 8 –CALAFATE-UPSALA & ONELLI:

Early morning you will be picked up from your hotel for an amazing navigation to the heart of continental ice cap, suitable for all ages. Then, we will take you to the pier of Punta Banderas (47 km from El Calafate) where we board a modern ship and began to sail the northern arm of Lake Argentino towards the icebergs channel, where we will see huge icebergs arising from the ice cap. We continued sailing toward the Upsala Glacier, one of the biggest glaciers of continental ice cap. After this we visit the great Spegazzini glacier, perhaps the most beautiful and then we return to the Iceberg channel towards Punta banderas. The route of this navigation is subject to modifications by unfavorable weather conditions. Late afternoon return to Calafate and transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 9 – CALAFATE-BUENOS AIRES-USA:

Transfer for flight to Buenos Aires. Arrive in Buenos Aires and connect with your international flight back to USA. (B)

Day 06 Bariloche: 

Sightseeing tour to visit the Cathedral Mountain. This 7500 feet high mountain is 12 miles from Bariloche and is one of the leading Latin American ski resorts with 41 miles of slopes. It owes its name to the remarkable rocky formation at the summit with limestone crests and rock pinnacles, just like the spires of a cathedral. You will reach the summit by cable car (or chair lift) for a magnificent view of the Andes, its peaks, blue lakes, valleys and the town of San Carlos de Bariloche. Day 07 Bariloche-Puerto Varas:
Today begin crossing of Lake Nahuel Huapi and crystal waters surrounded by white snow capped mountains. Arrive at Puerto Blest. Continue by bus and boat to Peulla passing by "La Cumbre". More stunning scenery. Continue the lake crossing from Peulla by boat to Petrohue crossing the emerald waters of "Lake Todos Los Santos". Lunch in Petrohue. Continue by bus passing to view Petrohue river falls and skirting Llanquihue lake. In the background the spectacular and almost cone shaped "Osorno Volcano". Day 14 Calafate-Perito Moreno 
Full day tour to Perito Moreno Glacier, an impressive Patagonian Glacier formed about 1 million years ago. Today will drive about 50 miles from Calafate, to the Peninsula of Magallanes, (south arm of the lago Argentino) to see the glacier, 240 feet above sea level and 3 miles wide, it is an overwhelming view of nature and contrary to other glaciers, this is the only one in the world which is still growing. DAY 03 WED. BUENOS AIRES-CRUISE
Transfer to the airport for flight to Ushuaia. Arrive and immediate check-in with the cruise company. (Check in at San Martín 245, Ushuaia) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., embark the Expedition Cruise Ship. The Captain and crew will give a welcome cocktail reception on board. Immediately afterward, the ship will set sail for “the uttermost part of the earth.” Through the mythical Beagle Channel, we will travel to Southern Patagonia, including Tierra de Fuego. DAY 04 THU. CRUISE Cape Horn-Wulaia 
We will sail through the Beagle and Murray Channels to disembark in Cape Horn National Park. Cape Horn, a sheer, almost 425-meter-high promontory, where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean merge, was discovered in 1616 by the Dutch commercial expedition organized by Isaac Le Maire. The Cape owes its name to the Port of Hoorn, the expedition’s departure point. In the afternoon we will disembark in historical Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region’s largest native settlements. This area is also renowned for the spectacular beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will walk through a Magellanic forest filled with Lengas, Coigües, Canelos, ferns and other species to reach a look-out point. (B,L,D)
DAY 05 FRI. CRUISE Gunther Pluschow Glacier
In the afternoon, we view awe inspiring Gunther Pluschow Glacier, named after the region's pioneering German aviator. Then we sail Chico Sound, where we disembark in Zodiacs to observe majestic Piloto and Nena Glaciers, providing us with a closer look at these awe-inspiring masses of ancient ice.  (B,L,D)
DAY 06 SAT CRUISE-PUNTA ARENAS
Early in the morning, we will disembark on Magdalena Island, the home of an immense colony of more than 120,000 Magellanic Penguins that we will be able to observe during our walk to the Lighthouse that guides different ships on their way through the Strait of Magellan. After our visit, we will return to Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m. (B)

DAY 02 MON.  BUENOS AIRES:

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be met and accompanied to your hotel. Afternoon tour around South America’s most elegant capital. On the way we will see Plaza de Mayo and the buildings that surround it: Casa Rosada (Government House), Cabildo (Old City Hall), The City Hall. Then, on to see the monumental Congress Building and its Square and along 9 de Julio Ave., the widest in the world, to see the Colon Theater, famous Opera House that stages the most important artists and musicians from all over the world. We will also visit San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Palermo Park with Jacaranda and Palo Borracho trees which flower in spring and late summer, the polo field and the race track and the historical Recoleta Cemetery with its ornate memorials.

DAY 05 THU. BUENOS AIRES-MENDOZA:

Afternoon a tour to this charming town set at the foot of the Andes and the highest peak in The Americas- The Aconcagua (22,834ft.), visiting the Government House, San Martin Park and Forest, Cerro de la Gloria crowned by a monument to the Andes Liberating Army. Day 06 FRI. MENDOZA: 

Today a visit to some of the vineyards just outside the city and one of the famous wineries with large oak wines casks, originally from France are used to age the red wines at constant temperatures. After the visit you will be able to sample the wine. (Mendoza is considered the capital of the wine region). Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 07 SAT. MENDOZA-BUENOS AIRES:

Transfer to the airport. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires transfer to hotel selected. (B)

DAY 08 SUN. BUENOS AIRES-BARILOCHE

DAY 09 MON. BARILOCHE

Morning scenic drive skirting Lake Nahuel Huapi as far as Puerto Pañuelo and the Llao Llao Peninsula. Leaving this lake behind, the road climbs through a forest of coihue trees, a native evergreen, offering views of the Andean peaks, you will see the impressive mount Tronador then to Lake Moreno for panoramic view of Lake Nahue Huapi, Victoria Island and the Andean mountains in all their splendor. Return to Bariloche via Laguna El Trebol (Clover Lagoon). Afternoon at leisure (B).

Day 10 TUE. BARILOCHE-IGUASSU 

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires with connection to Iguassu. Arrive and transferred to hotel selected. (B)

Morning tour of the Falls. Upon arrival to the Visitors Center and the Iguazu National Park Entrance, you will board a gas-propelled train, that will take you to the upper falls circuit and the Devil’s Throat. Once you are at the Devil’s Throat Station you will walk for about one kilometer on a flat catwalk built over the Upper Iguassu River. This catwalk crosses several islands where there are snack bars. Once you get to the end of the catwalks, you will be surprised by a strategic lookout point resting on the side of the gorgeous Devil’s Throat. The tour to Devil’s Throat has an approximate duration of 1 ½ hour. (Each station and catwalks have snack bars and toilets to cater to the visitor).  During this visit the Falls will be seen from up close allowing for the detailed appreciation of both flora and fauna as well the Falls who are literally at the reach of one’s hands. Total duration of tour: 6 hours. (B)

DAY 16 MON. CALAFATE-USHUAIA (TIERRA DEL FUEGO)

Transfer for flight to Ushuaia. Arrive in Ushuaia and transfer to hotel selected. Half day tour.  A tour visiting the southernmost city in the world that combines streets in different levels with colors in a very attractive way.  Visit the “Casco Antiguo”, the port and the rugged streets that climb the mountains.  You will enjoy a lot of colorful and different panoramic views.  The last stop is at the “Museo del Fin del Mundo” to see artifacts from the Ona and Yaganes Indians and mementoes of the Bridges and Harberton families, the first settlers. DAY 17 TUE. USHUAIA -TIERRA DEL FUEGO NATIONAL PARK

Half day tour. Located 12 km west of Ushuaia is the entrance to the National Park of Tierra del Fuego, the only one in our country which has sea coast. It covers an area of 63000 hs where lengas, guindos, ñires, calafates, notros and flowers like orchids, violets and senecios live together. A drive along this National Park, besides offering panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, approaches us to Nature. The waters of Lapataia Bay, Green Lagoon and Roca Lake are clear and reflect the surrounding mountains and clear skies. (B)

DAY 18 WED. USHUAIA -ESCONDIDO LAKE

Full day Escondido Lake and Fagnano . Departing Ushuaia to the east,  will pass by the industrial sector and once we get into the forest we will find the cascade “Velo de Novia” (Bride’s Veil). After bordering the base of Mount Olivia, the imposing Sierra Alvear appears in front of us with its snow-capped mountains. Passing Rancho Hambre we start our way up until 430mts above sea level and from the Garibaldi Pass we will get our first glimpse of Lago Escondido (Hidden Lake). Drive down to the edge of this lake before continuing the journey to Lake Fagnano. This lake is 100km long and its depth is unknown. Return to Ushuaia by National Route 3 (B)

DAY 19 THU. USUHAIA-BUENOS AIRES
