DAY 06-07 AMBERGRYS Belize is renowned for having the second largest barrier reef in the world, with spectacular dives and snorkeling trips to explore its 185 miles of natural formation and its 100 species of live corals! You can enjoy your leisurely day at the spa or swaying in a hammock under the shade of a coconut tree while sipping on the most exotic local drinks. If water sports are your yearning then delve into the coolness of the Caribbean Sea. DAY 01 U.S.A-BELIZE Depart U.S.A. for a fantastic vacation in Belize. Arrive and transfer to the Hotel selected in Belize city.
DAY 02 BELIZE-ALTUN HA-BABOON SANCTUARY Full day excursion. In the morning your guide will take you to explore the Mayan ruins of Altun-Ha - at one time it spread out about 20 square miles. You will see towers, palaces and pyramids of this great city where your tour guide will explain the advance world of the Mayan Civilization, then visit the exciting Baboon Sanctuary home of the Howler monkeys -famous for their rasping howl, which can be heard a mile away. Return to Belize for overnight. (Lunch included)
DAY 03 BELIZE-XUNANTUNICH or CAVE TUBING Today you have 2 choices...You can take a tour to Xunantunich or do some cave tubing in the Mountain Pine Ridge area. XUNANTUNICH & BELIZE ZOO TOUR: Morning departure from Belize City hotel up the western highway for about 45 minutes with first stop at the Belize Zoo where you can view over 100 species of animals living in their natural habitat. Lunch will be served en route to the Maya site of Xunantunich (El Castillo) which rises over 130 feet at the south end of the complex. El Castillo has been partially excavated and can be climbed by trails that wind back and forth. This site is only accessible by hand driven ferry across the Mopan River. It has a panoramic view of the village of San Jose Sucotz near the western border and distant town of Melchor de Mencos-Guatemala. (Lunch included) CAVE TUBING TOUR: After breakfast you will travel the Western Highway for some 37 miles where we will then travel some 8 miles on gravel road to the river and where Jaguar Paw Resort is located. Here you will be equipped with your tubes for the tour down river to and through the cave for about 1.5 hours. On your return you will lunch at Jaguar Paw Resort. You will need a dry change of clothes. (L)

DAY 01 FRI. U.S.A-BELIZE Depart U.S.A. for a fantastic vacation in Belize. Arrive and transfer to the Belize Biltmore.
DAY 02 SAT. BELIZE-MARUBA: Depart Belize City by car for an hour drive to the exotic Maruba Spa Resort. In the afternoon your guide will take you to explore the Mayan ruins of Altun-Ha - at one time it spread out about 20 square miles. You will see towers, palaces and pyramids of this great city. Return to Maruba for overnight. (L)
DAY 03 SUN. MARUBA-LAMANAI-ADVENTURE INN: Today your tour guide will take you to the Crooked Tree Wild Life Sanctuary, Then by boat through marshes and swamps for some bird watching (Jabaru storks, the largest flying bird; wood storks; herons; ducks; grebes; hawks, etc.). Continue to Guinea Grass where you will board a motor boat to explore the remote Mayan site of Lamanai, which is 3,500 years old. Here you will see the tallest Mayan building (112 feet). Archaeologist have defined more than 700 buildings on this site. Return to Guinea Grass by boat and continue driving to the outskirts of Corozal to Tony’s Inn for overnight. (B,L)
DAY 04 MON. COROZAL-CERROS-CUELLO/BELIZE: Depart by boat across the Bay of Corozal to visit the Mayan Ruins of Cerros (400 B.C.). There you will see ball courts and remains of large facial medallions. Back to Corozal for lunch, then visit the Mayan site of Santa Rita. Continue to Cuello (2600 B.C.), another astonishing Mayan site. Through carbon of wood found here, it was determined that Cuello had been occupied more than 4,000 years ago. Return to Belize City for overnight at the Hotel Biltmore Plaza. (B,L)
DAY 05 TUE. BELIZE-AMBERGRIS CAYE: Transfer to the airport for flight to the town of San Pedro in Ambergris Caye. Most hotels here are within walking distance of each other. Transfer to Ramons Village or Journey’s End for overnight. (Garden View).

Day 1: USA-BELIZE-SAN IGNACIO-CAYO DISTRICT
Arrive in Belize city where you will be met and taken to the San
Ignacio Area (Cayo district). This land transfer takes about 90 minutes. You
arrive at a Resort Windy Hill. Overnight in an air-conditioned room.
Day 2: CAYO DISTRICT-XUNANTUNINCH
After breakfast, you will depart for the Mayan Site of
Xunantunich.
Arrive at the Mopan river where you will cross it by hand operated ferry to visit to the ruins of Xunantunich
(Stone Woman)-This was a major ceremonial Mayan Center during the Classic
Period, the site has 6 major plazas, surrounded by 25 temple & palaces -you will
see one of the highest pyramids (130 feet high) called El Castillo.
After the tour you will continue to the Tropical Wings Butterfly Farm. Here you
will be impressed with the large variety of butterflies they have. You will
return to the hotel by midday. Afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight at your
Resort. (B)
Day 3: MOUNTAIN PINE RIDGE
After breakfast you will travel to the Mountain Pine Ridge
Reserve. You will visit the Rio Frio Caves. A captivating cavern with a 65-foot
high canopy, two entrances, a beach and a river running through it. Following,
you will go to the Rio On River. The view of this granite based river with its
multiple waterfalls and natural pools is just fantastic. A box lunch will be
served here and afterward you may go swimming to enjoy the cool water in the
natural pools. Tour returns to your Resort by 5:00 pm. Windy Hill (B)
Day 4: CAYO DISTRICT-BELIZE-AMBERGRYS
After breakfast you will be transferred by land to the Belize
City Municipal Airport for your flight to San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye. The
flight, which is done normally on 13 seater Cessna Caravans takes about 15
minutes. Upon arrival at the island you will be met by a representative of the
hotel and transported with your luggage to a hotel for overnight. Overnight at
HOTEL RAMON VILLAGE SEASIDE ROOM for 3 nights with daily Buffet Breakfast.

Day 5: AMBERGRYS SNORKELING
This morning You will be picked up in a boat at the hotel’s pier
at 8:45 am for your tour to the HOLCHAN MARINE RESERVE,
where you will get the opportunity to swim and interact with docile nurse
sharks, gentle rays, turtles and a myriad of tropical fishes.
Please take note Belize is renowned for
having the second largest barrier reef in the world, with spectacular dives and
snorkeling trips to explore its 185 miles of natural formation and its 100
species of live corals!. Return to your hotel for
overnight RAMON VILLAGE (B)
Day 6: AMBERGRYS
After your American breakfast you will have this full day at
leisure for you to relax, choose to go on other tours on your own, or rent a
golf cart and go and explore the island. Overnight at RAMON VILLAGE. (B)
