MAY 22 – SAN SALVADOR – Early departure for a tour of San Salvador the
capital city. We will visit the historical center where we will find structures
dating back to the XIX century. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then on to
visit Joya de Ceren, a Mayan village that shows how the Mayas lived. It was
preserved by nature being buried under the ashes of a volcano. (B, L & D) SAT MAY 23 – SAN SALVADOR – After breakfast drive 1 ½ hours to the all inclusive hotel Royal Decameron Salinitas. After lunch, a presentation by the Decameron followed by an inspection of the property. (B, L & D) For

MAY 24 – EL SALVADOR/HONDURAS – A very early departure today for a full day
tour to the Copan Ruins -a major Mayan Archeological site declared by UNESCO as
Patrimony of Humanity in 1980. Copan is a quiet antique cultural oasis with
sublime nature located in the Eastern part of Honduras. The Archeological Park
shows a variety of steles that enclosed the mystery of their forefathers. After
lunch return to the Decameron arriving early evening for dinner and show. (B, L

MAY 25 – SAN SALVADOR - After breakfast, depart for a Culture and Crafts
tour including lunch at a local restaurant. This tour is designed or those
interested in crafts and visiting picturesque colonial towns. Return late

to the colonial city Antigua, Guatemala including lunch at a local restaurant.
This is a fascinating place, rich in history, and founded in 1543.
A very pleasant city of cobble stones streets, houses and mansions with
colonial-style facades and tile roofs. Our tour guide will take
us to visit churches, convents,
monasteries and other colonial buildings. Return early
