waters are home to 3 living atolls; Turneffe, Lighthouse (home of the
Blue Hole) and Glovers Reef. These sites are excellent for the novice
diver, yet interesting to the more experienced diver. Shark Ray Alley,
Hol-Chan Marine Reserve, Mexico Rocks and many other snorkeling areas
are only a short boat ride away from the SunBreeze Hotel pier.
Ambergris Caye, the largest of Belize's more than 200 offshore Cayes is
approximately 35 miles from the Belize mainland and the main destination
for travelers to this friendly and unspoiled Caribbean nation. Ambergris
Caye is Belize's paradise and features many attractions for the entire
family, especially those interested in diving and snorkeling, which
makes the island the premier dive and water sports capital of Belize and
Central America. Enjoy the wonders of the worlds second longest Barrier
Reef (186 miles), one-half mile east of the shoreline and runs the
entire 25 mile length of the island.
Traveling to Ambergris Caye from the Belize mainland
is made easy by a short boat ride or plane ride. Maya Island Air and
Tropic Air have regular flights every hour, on the hour during the
daylight hours.
The SunBreeze Hotel is an oceanfront "U"
shape Hotel which overlooks the majestic Caribbean Sea, where one can
experience all the wonders Belize have to offer. Enjoy the serenity and
beauty of the ocean or experience the sunrise and sunset from the wooden
deck which surrounds our fresh water pool. The property is protected by
a seawall.
We are centrally located within a stroll of the heart
of the town of San Pedro with easy access to all the restaurants,
entertainment and activities, yet out of the hustle and bustle of the
town.
SunBreeze Hotel boasts 42 spacious air-conditioned
rooms, with partial ocean and tropical garden views. Our rooms are
divided into 3 categories: Standard rooms- garden and pool view, Deluxe
rooms partial ocean and garden view and Premier rooms with more
prominent ocean view. All our rooms are non-smoking and features two
double beds, some queen beds are available, ceiling fan, direct dial
telephone, cable TV, radio/alarm clocks, private bathroom with hot and
cold shower. Our 21 deluxe rooms were recently remodeled creating a
different unique style and are equipped with a mini refrigerator. Our 5
premier rooms boast a Jacuzzi bath and
a mini refrigerator.
Welcome in each morning with fresh sea breeze and
spectacular view from our onsite restaurant, Blue
Water Grill, which overlooks the pristine waters of the Caribbean
Sea. The restaurant opens daily from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., serving
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Blue Water Grill specializes in Island
Cuisine with a Twist featuring menu items including poultry, seafood,
fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Dinner and group seating reservations
is a must.
Adjoining the restaurant is the bar, the perfect
gathering and entertainment place for Hotel Guests. The bar opens daily
from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. offering a wide variety of tropical and
international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Relax under the
evening moonlight whilst sipping an exotic cocktail or simply enjoy the
music.

offers all PADI certification courses and daily dive and snorkel trips.
