River Rafting

Pacuare River Camp Class III-IV (2 days/1 night) Tara No.157

A trip of pure magic, unsurpassed beauty, exhuberant wildlife and ravishing rapids on one of the few protected tropical wilderness rivers. Early morning pick-up at your hotel in San José by your bilingual river guide. En route to the put-in point stop for breakfast. Continue to Tres Equis (total driving time 3½ hours), where you can either walk for 45 minutes through the forest or switch to a 4x4 shuttle to the put-in. After an orientation and safety talk proceed down the river. Lunch on the river bank. River time about 2½ hours. Mid-afternoon arrival at private camp with time to relax and enjoy the rainforest.
