The Hotel Sofitel Santa Clara is located in the Historical Heart of Cartagena de Indias, a city declared by UNESCO in 1985 as a "Historical and Cultural Legacy of Humanity". Bathed by the Caribbean Sea it maintains deep down in its colonial balconies andwalled city the true legend of pirates, corsairs and Spanish traditions.
The Santa Clara Convent was built at the beginning of the seventeenth century.
